For the engineer who has labored diligently in the design of a particular part or component, there is nothing quite as satisfying as seeing and handling a physical prototype of the part. The design concept becomes tangible reality. At US MOTION, we understand this need. Our machining facility originated for the express purpose of providing prototype machining capabilities for our engineering staff.
We are happy to support your prototyping efforts. We can generally work directly from your native CAD files and are able to handle a wide variety of materials, shapes and tolerances.
Analogous to prototype machining are one-time machining projects such as custom fixtures, specialized tooling and molds. Our highly-capable team of machinist and programmers are well-versed in demanding projects. They will be happy to provide feedback on your design as to ease-of-machining for each part and potential design changes leading to reduced complexity and shorter run times.
For our customers with lower volume requirements, we are their single source moving from prototype to production.
