Incremental encoders are usually 2 channels of AB quadrature and may have a 3rd index channel. In producing an incremental rotary encoder for your OEM application, we can start with either an existing US MOTION encoder or an industry-standard readhead. The development of an OEM encoder may include the custom design of electronics, optics, codedisk, codedisk hub, housing, cabling and connectors.
FEATURES
- Transmissive or reflective
- Transmissive codedisks types include stainless, mylar, chrome-on-glass and chrome-on-plastic
- Shafted or hollow-shafted
- Kit encoders (typically hollow-shafted)
- Housings may be plastic or metal, hollow-shafted or shafted
- Wide range of shaft and bore diameters
- Frequency response to 500kHz
